We are excited to announce that the TPN v5.3.1 Questionnaire and Assessment is now live on TPN+, along with the launch of our next-gen four-tier Shield system: Blue, Silver, Gold and Gold Star.

TPN assessments have identified remediation items for 96% of Service Providers, highlighting key areas for improvement and ongoing risks to content security. The v5.3.1 and four-tier Shield updates enhance the TPN program and reinforce our shared commitment to raising content security standards across the industry.

v5.3.1 Questionnaire & Assessment
Now available in your TPN+ profile under each Site or Application row. This latest version strengthens application security with a new scoping baseline and four added controls.
Next-Gen Four-Tier Shield Structure
The updated Shield system provides greater visibility into remediation progress and a clearer path to security maturity. Shield status is now prominently displayed in the TPN+ Registry.
Next-Gen Four-Tier Shield Breakdown:

Blue Shield – Self-assessment completed and published
Silver Shield – Assessment completed, remediation plan submitted (formerly Classic Gold)
Gold Shield – All Best Practice remediation items completed and reviewed by TPN
Gold Star Shield – All Best Practice and Additional Recommendations completed and reviewed by TPN
Note: Any previously earned Classic Gold Shields will remain valid until their 2-year expiration.
